The University of Michigan Tauber Institute Operations Leadership Factory – My introduction to the world of manufacturing. As an instructional aide, we put on demonstrations to industry professionals to teach them pillars of lean manufacturing in a hands-on setting. Bosal – The first real manufacturing environment I was exposed to. We manufactured exhaust systems for GM and FCA. I worked on a wide variety of projects during my time with Bosal. Burke E. Porter – An OEM of automated testing equipment for the automotive industry. I started working for BEP May 2018. My primary responsibilities are in-house startup of the machines, facilitating installation, and integration of the machines at the customer’s site. In this position, I will gain deep insight into the controls systems of automated equipment.
